Copyright Policy
VoiceLamp lets people transcribe, translate, dub, clean, and separate audio, and generate new speech, sound, and music. We respect the rights of creators and expect our users to do the same. This policy explains how to report infringing content and what happens next.
Last updated 1 November 2026
01Use only content you have rights to
Only upload recordings, videos, music, scripts, and lyrics that you own or are licensed to use for the job you run. This includes music you split into stems and videos you translate or dub. Our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy require it.
Music and sound effects generated in VoiceLamp are new works created for you. Do not ask for imitations of a specific artist, song, or recording you do not have rights to.
02Reporting infringement
Files in VoiceLamp are private to each workspace, but if you believe content created or shared with VoiceLamp infringes your copyright, email abuse@voicelamp.com with:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- Where the infringing material can be found (for example, a public link where it was published) and any details that help us identify the workspace or job.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
03What we do
When we receive a complete notice, we review it promptly. Where appropriate we remove or disable the material, cancel related jobs, and tell the account holder, including a copy of the notice with your personal contact details removed where the law allows.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. Knowingly false notices may make the sender liable for damages.
04Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, email abuse@voicelamp.com with:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
- The material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, outside the United States, where SoftApex Technologies SMC LTD is located), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will pass the counter-notice to the person who reported the content. Unless they tell us they have started legal action, we may restore the material.
05Repeat infringers
We suspend or close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, without a refund.
06Voices and likeness
A voice is not covered by copyright everywhere, but imitating a real person without permission breaks our rules. To report a voice imitation, see Report misuse.
