Guide
Create a private voice with consent
Request a private copy of a voice with a short WAV sample and a permission record. Our team reviews every request.
01Before you start
You need a clean recording of the voice owner and their clear permission. If the voice is not yours, the owner must agree to the specific use you describe. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
The sample must be a 16-bit WAV, 3–30 seconds long, up to 8 MB, with clear speech and no music. Very quiet recordings are rejected.
02Request a voice
- Open My voices and start a private voice request.
- Choose the project, enter the voice owner's name, and your relationship (self, employee, contractor, client, or other).
- Describe how the voice will be used (10–500 characters).
- Upload the WAV sample, confirm you have the rights, and select Save request.
03Review
An independent VoiceLamp reviewer checks identity, consent, and intended use. You can follow the status in My voice requests: Awaiting review, Approved, Ready to use, or Not approved.
Once ready, choose My cloned voice in the voice studio. Cloned voices use Fast mode with the Natural style.
04Withdrawing a voice
Select Withdraw and remove voice at any time. This deletes the sample and the private voice. If the voice owner withdraws permission, you must stop using it.
